Silver
Most of my writing tends to fall into the category of personal allegory, I suppose. I often see shades of myself in a lot of my characters, though I often choose to leave them nameless in order to give others a chance to see themselves in the piece as well. Silver is a fairy tale of sorts that I wrote one day about a personal transformation, or "becoming", that I was going through at the time.
Glass
Another allegory where a personal mythology is suggested. I believe that we all have spirits or beings who visit us while we sleep, whispering in our ears of things we need to know. This is what I sometimes fancy one of mine says to me.
Seven Days
We all have a little bit of the Divine Spark within us, and that is manifested in our ability to create whether it be children, art, or new ideas. I like to believe that artists and writers have a healthier dose of the divine within than average, since they really do create worlds of their own that others can step into and walk around in. This story is what happened when I decided to take that idea and literalize it a bit more.
Cinnabar
In Glass, certain questions were asked. In Cinnabar, I feel they are answered -- at least in part.
The Satins
These creatures are works in progress, but they are everywhere. They always have been and they always will be. They walk among you, you see.
The Weaver and the Shadow
Chasing Katisha
This is a writing assignment that a friend of mine posted in her journal a while back and that I've been meaning to do ever since. It came out rather good, so I thought I'd share it here as well, especially since it's been a while since I uploaded anything new.
